How it works

Gentle! Facial Cleanser for normal, dry, combination, and oily skin.  Mild, yet effective, cleanser with Allantoin and Panthenol, removes impurities while softening skin. Soothing cleanser with a highly concentrated blend of botanical extracts, leaving skin feeling revitalized and refreshed. 

How to Apply

Use morning and night with a small amount of water.  Massage onto skin for 30 to 60 seconds and rinse thoroughly. 

Active ingredients

Pure Rose Hydrosol:  The by-product of essential oil distillation from fresh rose petals, produced during the steam distilling process.  Steam is passed through plant material, condensate is collected, the essential oil floating on the surface is collected, and the water that is remaining is the hydrosol.  It is 30 times stronger than herbal teas and gentler than essential oils. It restores the skin’s pH and tightens pores.  Acts as an anti-inflammatory, reducing irritation and redness, while calming and soothing skin. It controls and balances sebum production, making it useful for both dry and oily skin.

Aloe Vera Juice: plant species which grows wild in tropical climates around the world, commonly cultivated for medicinal uses; has as abundance of vitamins and minerals, including vitamin A, C, and E with Vitamin B12, folic acid, choline, copper, selenium, manganese, magnesium, potassium, calcium, sodium, and zinc. Contains eight enzymes including catalase, cellulase, lipase, aliases, alkaline phosphatase, amylase, carboxypeptidase, and peroxidase. Also has the hormones which play a role in healing the wounds and have anti-inflammatory properties, auxins, and gibberellins. A source of antioxidants; protects skin, can fight the presence of bacteria, promoting healthy skin; reduces the frequency and appearance of acne. Aloe vera can moisturize skin and reduce early signs of aging.

Decyl Glucoside: a derivative of coconut. A non-ionic surfactant that's used as a cleansing agent. It's gentle enough for sensitive skin and can be used in baby products. It also possesses moisture binding properties that help make the skin feel smooth and soft.

Cocamidopropyl Betaine:   is often used in cleansers because of its thickening and foaming properties, which helps moisturize the skin. Cocamidopropyl betaine is even found in many baby soaps and shampoos. Does not cause irritation like other harsher surfactants. 

Sodium Cocoyl Isethionate: a sodium salt derived from coconut oil; an alternative to animal-based substances. Acts as a surfactant in soaps and cleansers -- it lowers the surface tension of water, which makes the cleanser easier to spread on your face when you wash it, and helps water and oil bond. Because of sodium isethionate's mild nature, it's often found in toothpastes and in baby soaps.

Cocyl Hydrolyzed Silk: Hydrolyzed from pure silk fibers, Foaming Silk has the benefit of natural lathering properties for mild cleansing and softening. Skin conditioning agent.

Allantoin: acts as a compound removing barriers like dead skin and keratin. Increases the skin’s hydration by helping the lower layers of the skin absorb moisture normally and reduces the appearance of wrinkles, while preventing itchy or flaky skin. Contains anti-inflammatory/anti-irritant properties.

Panthenol:  pro-vitamin B5, an excellent moisturizer/humectant; plumps, heals, softens, and soothes skin.

Meadowfoam XPR: Limnanthes alba, extracted from the seeds of the white, flowering meadowfoam plant. Contains several anti-inflammatory and anti-oxidants like Vitamins C and E. Acts as an emollient when applied to skin to lock in moisture with a soothing, non-sticky feeling.

Calendula Extract: Calendula Officinalis is a natural oil extracted from marigold flowers.  Contains five compounds that have been studied and are known to provide antioxidant protection, soothing skin and reducing discomfort. Targets skin conditions such as acne and eczema and may promote skin hydration and firmness.

Orange Peel Oil: Citrus sinensis, protects the skin from free radicals and heals it from acne. Reduces dark spots and blemishes; fights off free radicals to prevent premature skin aging. Has antibacterial properties helping fight acne, boosting circulation in the skin, promoting cell growth and collagen synthesis, shrinking large pores and firming skin. Controls excess oil formed on the skin, and has antiseptic healing properties. Can help to heal and protect the epidermis from infection from bacteria.  

Peppermint Oil:  Mentha piperita soothes the body and makes one feel rejuvenated and refreshed. Makes the skin brighter; controls acne; and is an excellent toner. Peppermint oil has antiviral, antifungal, radioprotective, anti-edema, antimicrobial, antioxidant and analgesic properties.

Chamomile Extract:  Asteraceae, a common name for several daisy-like plants in this family. Many active ingredients in chamomile are powerful, including the flavonoids apigenin, luteolin, and quercetin, and oils including alpha-bisabolol and matricin; all contributing to chamomile's antioxidant properties. Has antioxidants that help protect the skin from environmental stressors and reduce the appearance of aging. Chamomile is soothing and is known to calm red, dry, sensitive, and irritated skin.

Carrot Essential Seed Oil:  Daucus Carota is renowned for being amazing at skin renewal and is highly used in anti-aging formulations. It softens the skin, reduces wrinkles and combats aging with its’ high antioxidant content. Stimulates cell renewal; stimulates the sweat and sebaceous glands – thus benefiting dry and mature skin; protects skin that is exposed to the elements; tightens and rejuvenates the skin; repairs damaged skin, making it useful for those suffering from eczema, psoriasis, and dermatitis; heals wounds and repairs; sun spots, and acts as an anti-fungal.
